C&R Focus Group Meeting in Vottem (B)
On June 11, the members of the C&R focus group gathered in Vottem (B) for a substantive and well-attended meeting.
The Belgian national Crisis Center (lead partner) presented the Hawkeye project, a follow-up to the Marhetak project. Within this Interreg project, the Paragon platform will be further developed so that it can also be used by German partners and linked to the Dutch LCMS system. The input of the C&R focus group is valuable in this regard for supplementing data and advising on risk indicators.
The StädteRegion Aachen explained the German MTF concept (Medizinische Task Force), a program for medical deployment in large-scale incidents and for civil protection. The presentation covered topics such as the transport of injured persons, decontamination, and trauma care. Finally, the Services of the Governor of the Province of Liège gave a presentation on their crisis center.
