EMRIC partners get acquainted with CoPI coordination during practical exercises
On 9, 10 and 11 June, CoPI practical exercises took place in the Parkstad region in the southern part of the province of Limburg in the Netherlands.
CoPI stands for Commando Plaats Incident and refers to the multidisciplinary coordination meeting held at the scene of an incident in the Netherlands. This year's exercises focused on incidents at SnowWorld in Landgraaf and Zuyderland Medical Center in Heerlen. For our EMRIC partners from Germany and Belgium, this was a valuable opportunity to become familiar with the Dutch incident escalation system and to observe firsthand how a CoPI coordination meeting operates in practice.
Thank you to all participating partners for the excellent organisation, active participation and valuable exchange of knowledge and experience!
